They Say What They Say

So, instead of taking useful and informative notes at my lecture this afternoon, notes that might help me study for the exam I have in four weeks, I nutted out what I needed in the way of work clothes to keep me going for winter. And this is what I came up with:

1 dress that can be worn either over a shirt or top or on it's own.
2 pairs of pants.
2 skirts.
1 Jacket (This jacket should match 1 of the skirts and 1 pair of pants so they can be worn as a suit when the need arises.)
5 shirts of various hues (Not white though because you would not believe how dirty book dust is.)
5 tops, with either long or 3/4 sleeves or a mix of both.
3 sweaters.
2 pairs of shoes that can be worn with either pants or skirts.
1 pair of boots, ditto as shoes.
1 coat.
1 pair of leather gloves.

All in all it should cost me around $5000.00.

Hmm, anyone want to lend me $5000.00 so I can go shopping?

I just got an email from amazon.ca thanking me for purchasing the due South season three DVD box set. Only problem is, I haven't actually bought it because it hasn't been released yet, I've just put in a pre-order for it. Do they even check these things?
