Heh, went to the video library with P tonight and guess what was sitting on the ex-rental table for $8.00? Boy did I snap that baby up! P couldn't quite understand why I was getting so excited (he falls into the non-slash side of real life) but I trawl through ex-rental DVDs and videos all the time and this is the first time in ages that I've come across something I'd willingly part with cash for.
Music:: Men with Brooms of course!

I watched Valley of the Dolls last night and oh my it was bad. I mean I wasn't expecting Shakespeare or anything, but I really wasn't prepared for how cheesy and overwrought it all was. I can't believe the screeching, scenery-chewing Patty Duke I was watching was the same person who was so great In The Miracle Worker. Barbara Parkins might as well have been asleep for all the impact she made and Sharon Tate was sweet and pretty but not much else. I did love the clothes and as a period piece it's kind of interesting to see how far they were willing to push things as movie censorship began to loosen up. But it's dated so badly a period piece is all it really can be these days.
