They Say What They Say

So I read Hard Core Road Show in one go (as I'm wont to do) and while all the cute slashy moments between Hugh Dillon and Callum Keith Rennie made me go "Aww!", it also made me very glad that I don't work in the film industry. The constant uncertainty and the scrambling for funding, as well as never knowing if you're going to have the project you've poured your sweat and tears into yanked out from under you would drive me insane. I think you have to either be very brave or a masochist to survive in that profession. Probably both.

Still got the cold, although the sore throat has gone. Now it's just the annoying runny nose and the cotton wool for brains. Have given up any pretense of studying for my exam tomorrow. In the words of Napoleon (via Casey McCall), I'll just turn up and see what happens. It's all I can do.
