My homework avoidance tactic of choice at the moment is cooking. My freezer is now bulging with soup (pumpkin and Italian country style) Italian sausage casserole and chickpea and vegetable stew. I was going to make pasta sauce, but I think I'll have to wait a couple of weeks until I eat all the soup. But I am going to make chocolate cupcakes, and I made sultana muffins the other day which were exceedingly yummy!

Meanwhile Mousey-Mousey seems to be very resistant to the idea of moving. I don't think the trap has been touched. Maybe (s)he doesn't like peanut butter. I might try strawberry jam. Or I could go for good old-fashioned cheese. Or maybe cheese and strawberry jam. You never know with these mice. Sometimes they have strange tastes.

Sports Night continues to be of great comfort, although not for much longer I fear. I'm up to The Local Weather, which means Draft Day parts one and two are looming on the horizon. That is followed by a brief reprieve with April is the Cruelest Month, but then there's the slippery slope to Quo Vadimus. After that there's nothing more except starting at the beginning again.

Of course there's always due South to keep me going. But that's a whole n'other kettle of fish.

(ETA: How cute us RayK in Easy Money? From him his cute little Chicago Bulls t-shirt, to his cute concern about Fraser, to his ohsocute! head tilt when he says hi to his dad. OMGSOCUTE!)
