So, Sin City is good but very violent (at least for me is was. A was expecting it to be more violent if that's at all possible!) Bruce Willis was great, once again producing the sort of performance that reminds us that he's more than a smirk attached to a muscle-bound bondy. Mickey Rourke was a revelation and even Jessica Alba wasn't too annoying (although she still can't act to save her life.) I found the Clive Owen's storyline a little less effective, but that's just me, and boy did Elijah Wood lay the spirit of Frodo Baggins firmly to rest with his silent yet extremely creepy performance.

I give it three stars.
