Guess who forgot that daylight savings started last night and neglected to put their clock forward before the went to bed?

I have subsequently spent most of the day running an hour behind everyone else, but at least I got my act together enough to give my living room a sorely needed vacuum and make a relatively decent dinner of roasted and steamed vegetables. Much better than the cake I've been subsisting off for the last few days.

But the best thing to happen so far this weekend was finding a copy of the Scissor Sister's album at Ivanhoe Blockbuster for $20.00. Now I'm attempting to watch Dances with Wolves while I do homework. Or at least the homework part will happen once I get off lj.

Oh look, Maury Chaykin! Good heavens, his character is totally insane!!

I will not make cake tonight. However I did have a vague idea about banana pudding with caramel sauce. I do, after all, have all those overripe bananas to use up...

I've made it through half of Dances with Wolves and I'm quite enjoying it, but it's soooo long that my concentration is seriously starting to lapse. I might have to finish it off tomorrow after I get home from study group.

Speaking of which, I think I've made reasonable headway with my subject summaries. I don't know if any of it has actually sunk in, but I'm sure I'll find out. And I shall compare my progress with my classmates tomorrow and then probably go into a panic for the next couple of days, but at the moment my level of caring about this subject is about nil so anything I do is something.
