I had a Jeremy moment this afternoon when I was standing at the traffic lights in the pouring rain while I waited to cross the road. Of course if I really was Jeremy, I would have thought to check the weather before I left home this morning and brought an umbrella to work with me so I wouldn't have gotten drenched in the downpour.

Work was better today, even though my colleague, Mr Grumpy Pants, needs a lesson or two on how to address someone in a courteous and thoughtful manner, and not just wave pieces of paper under their nose and demand "Fix this!" And I'll say one thing about new boss, she's a lot better at delegating than old boss ever was. He'd just do everything himself, leaving me floundering around for stuff to do. New boss, though, isn't afraid to had things on and actually trusts that you can do it just was well as she can. I like that in a boss.

Why is it so much cooler outside my flat than it is inside?
