*am pooped*
I've been running around after a two year-old for the last couple of days, and my sympathy for mothers of young children has increased exponentially. I've changed many nappies, been to the park twice and down the big red slide lots. We've fed the swans, been on vintage tram rides (and I'm sure N&G are going to thank me for that when he insists on going on the tram every time he goes to the park from now on *g*) eaten gelatinous snakes and chocolate frogs. We've visited grandma, uncle J and the dogs, eaten easter dinner (which I cooked, including making gravy from scratch) much yoghurt and cheese and more chocolate than I care to think about, played with blocks and fed the cats, watched many hours of Bob the Builder and The Wiggles and picked up walnuts in the back yard.
Somehow I managed to steal a few minutes to go and visit N and the baby this afternoon. She's so cute! She loots a lot like F did when he was born, but not quite as squished in. She's got lots of hair and the big feet and hands that run on both sides of the family, and really blue eyes. So very cute!!
*is a proud aunt*
It's freezing here tonight. 5 degrees C, or something like that. I'm wearing my fluffy slippers, but they're not doing much good. My toeses are still cold. Extra blankies are definitely called for tonight, and oh god, I have got to stop hanging out with two year-olds. All this baby talk is embarrassing.
Maybe I'll just go and have another chocolate frog.
