Don't you just hate it when one of your favourite authors posts a big new fic, but the pairing is one that you can't even bring yourself to think about let alone read?

Still in the old home town where it is a very balmy(??) 7C. I think my feet have frozen off. I took the nephew down to the park this morning where we fed the swans and ran around the play ground in the misty rain and didn't go on the tram because they only came out of hiding just as we were leaving. He looks very fetching in the beanie I finished knitting for him last night, and you've not see cute until you watch a two year-old sitting at the kitchen table and drinking a baby chino while wearing a singlet, a pair of track pants and a beanie.

I can't believe the weekend is nearly over. What happened to Saturday? I'd better start gathering all my chattels together for the trip back to Melbourne, which isn't such a bad thing when I think about my car's heater and having it aimed directly at my feet.

I wish my writing piskies were working. I have a couple of fic ideas but no inspiration. I think they've gone into hibernation for the winter. Maybe if I eat more choklit they'll come out and play.
