The Studio 60 pilot is available over at YouTube, broken into several small parts, but given my crappy dial-up speed I suspect it's going to take me at least all night to download one nine minute segment. I might space the parts out over the next couple of days, just to prolong the delight of new Sorkin, and so my poor old pooter doesn't have a melt down.

[livejournal.com profile] scriggle posted some very yummy picspam of Callum getting his gear off in Last Night, and since the friend I loaned my copy of the movie to about a year ago has finally returned my DVD, I've spent the afternoon making pie and watching Callum have a lot of sex. Not a bad way to spend a lazy Sunday.

This is how vague I am at the moment; I rode my bike down the Station Street to get a cup of coffee and buy some TP. Between parking my bike near the milkbar and going for coffee, I forgot that I'd ridden my bike and planned to walk the long way home. It was only when I walked out of the supermarket and saw some other people on bikes that I remembered that I had mine with me. Otherwise I would have gotten all the way home and would have had to turn around and go back again!

Speaking of bikes, yesterday I had one of those moments that only seem to happen in the movies but do occasionally occur in real life. I dropped into Safeway on my way home from work, and locked my bike to the veranda post of the shop next door. I assume that from the road the car parked at the curb blocked my bike from view, because as I was putting my groceries into my panniers I noticed a car hovering near by. When I looked up the women in the passenger seat sort of gazed at me expectantly, and then she burst out laughing when I put my bike helmet on. Like those moments in the movies when the cyclist looks like they're getting into a Mercedes and rides off on their humble treadly instead, I think she and the guy with her thought that I was going the get into the car parked near my bike and they were waiting to take the parking space when I left.

I've eaten way too much pie. It was very yummy pie, but I've eaten way too much. And since I haven't been to either gym or yoga in a week I'm feeling like a big blob. And oh yay, here come the lady pains. Wot joy.
