They Say What They Say

I have completely lost my voice. I open my mouth and the only thing that comes out is an incomprehensible croaking sound. You should have heard me on the phone to my lecturer this morning. Thank god she got the gist of things fairly quickly.

Now it's nearly 1.00pm and I'm still sitting in my jimjams on the couch. Day time TV is boring the hell out of me, but I can't concentrate long enough to work on my assignment, so I may have to get dressed and venture out into the world where I will purchase more cold and flu medication, procure chocolate and hope to god the girl in the cafe can understand me when I order a skinny cappuchino.

ETA: Just found out that I didn't get the Sydenham job. And my bike got a flat tire on my way to the shops. It hasn't been the best day I've ever had. Think I'm going to go and console myself with cake.
