I, um, seem to have purchased shoes.

Yes, I KNOW, don't look at me like that!

That's what I get for spending the entire weekend watching Sex and the City. God knows what's going to happen when my box set arrives.

*hangs head*

I keep forgetting what day it is, and then getting a little sad when I remember. It's hard to believe it's been five years since the world was turned up-side-down. And I wish I could say we're a better world for it, but we're not. We're all that little bit more paranoid and suspicious, and it doesn't help that the government seems hell-bent in turning us into a big brother society where dobbing in your neighbour is the thing to do, as is treating anyone who is vaguely different with suspicion and fear.

*sigh*

I think I have an appointment for the dentist in the morning, but I'm not sure. I was supposed to go a couple of weeks ago but had to reschedule and forgot to make a note of the new date. And usually they call the day before to confirm your appointment, but there wasn't any messages on my answering machine when I got home, and no one has called my mobile all day. Ah well, I'll give them a buzz first thing in the morning and if I arrive a little late, so be it. They should have reminded me!

I attempted to go to gym today, but I think I wore myself out riding over to Spotlight in Brunswick this afternoon. By four o'clock I was feeling decidedly wonky and it was all I could do to get myself home in one piece. I just wish I could shake this bug I've had once and for all. It's been two weeks since I first got sick and I'm very over feeling tired and washed out all the time, not to mention the hacking cough that will not go away!

Oh, and someone stole my bike light while I was out. Ass-hats.
