They Say What They Say

Apparently I missed all the fun and games involving the LJ outage yesterday. While you were all tearing your hair out I was watching many episodes of Bob the Builder, going for walks to see the fire engines at the station and trying to get F to eat his chicken and chips. But it was a great weekend and F was really good for me. I only had deal with tears a couple of times, and one of those was when he bumped his head on the car door, and he's so cute I couldn't even be cross with him when he woke me up at 6.30am.

However I don't even want to think about the freaky-ass dreams I had last night.

When I got home this afternoon, I found that one of the local ant colonies had stage a coup in my absence and had taken over my kitchen. THERE WERE ANTS COMMITTING SUICIDE IN MY KETTLE, PEOPLE! Hot water took care of them and I've put out some AntRid, but every time I spot something small and black out of the corner of my eye I cringe.

God, I so need to go to bed. I'm back at work tomorrow and I'm so tired. My flay is a disaster because I had to get online for a chat with my study group so I just dumped everything on my bed when I got home, and I have yet to put away all my groceries. I've only just had dinner, my head is pounding and I've got four days to get my act together to finish my last couple of assignments for school!

Is it too soon to retire?
