They Say What They Say

You know how I said I was giving up buying clothes for a month? Yeah, well that's gone completely out the window.

I haven't bought anything yet, but I've got an interview on Friday for a job that I really want and I'll be damned if I'm turning up to it wearing one of my starting-to-look-a-little-shabby work tops. So I'm going shopping on Wednesday morning before work. I will be purchasing a top that will go nicely with my good suit. I will try not to spend too much money, however if the right top happens to cost over $100, so be it, because I really, really want this job!

I'm just saying.

Meanwhile the shoes I bought off eBay a couple of weeks ago finally arrived and of course the first thing I do is put them on with a chiffon frock and go to the supermarket dressed like I'm going to a garden party.

I'm such a girl sometimes.

I also had to suffer through a vaguely embarrassing phone call to my mother today when I realised that I had left all my bras in the Old Home Town on the weekend. My sister is express posting them to me tomorrow, to my work address because if they go to the post office it will be a week before I'll be able to pick them up. I just hope no one opens the parcel before it gets to me.
