I rang the vet's in Sunshine today to inquire about the galah and they told me that the poor thing had passed away a couple of hours after I dropped it off. It was pretty badly hurt, they said, so the chances of it surviving were very slim. They said I did the right thing by bringing it in, but I can't help feeling a little sad.
