First day of new job has been survived and I even made it to gym after work. But I haven't had much time to catch up on email or LJ and I suspect that if today is anything to go by, my days of checking my flist at work are pretty much over. My new department really is THAT busy! Plus, the way my pooter is positioned, the whole world and his dog can bear witness to my sekrit fangirl activities and that will just not do.

*sigh*

I think Torchwood just broke me, even though I haven't seen the whole thing yet because I was watching Elton John on Enough Rope. But seriously, how could they possibly fit that much angst in to just one episode? The mind boggles!

My new TV continues to be lovely, however I must now be going out and buying a new cable for the DVD player because the TV comes equipped with it's own DVD channel but naturally you need a speshul DVD cable for it to work. And it is vitally important that I get this cable ASAP because my Slings & Arrows DVDs will be here any minute now and I will not be deprived of Geoffrey Tennant for want of an AV cord with blue and green plugs!

BTW, I may have sort have passed my masters. The results aren't officially out until Friday, but I got the marks for all my assignments the other day and I seemed to have become a straight A student. Not sure when that happened. Or how. But I guess it means I passed, eh?
