We're having a baby!

Or more to the point, my sister is going into hospital on Friday morning so they can coax E3 into arriving on time, unlike his/her brother and sister who were both a week late. I've taken the day off and will be driving up to the old home town after work on Thursday to sit on babies for the day and possibly the weekend, depending on how enthusiastic this kid is about joining the real world. Let's hope that he/she can't wait to finally meet us all :~)

Of course this means I had to cancel my second date with date!guy, however he was slightly more understanding than I was when he cancelled on me, mostly because I offered him a complete explanation at the time and not a vague 'I have to go to a club meeting' type of excuse. Apparently I have to make it up to him at a later date. I'm not quite sure what that means. Yet.

My right foot is a lovely shade of purple at the moment, from where I dropped something heavy on in on the weekend. It goes great with the bruise on my right shin from when I fell off my high heels last Friday :~\

Today my boss sort of told me he thought I was doing a good job. I at least I think he did when he said I 'hit the ground running' when I started in ILL. Also, there will be no redundancies, at least for the moment, so anyone hoping for a nice fat payout will have to lump it. That's all good, right?

I'm thinking of buying an MP3 player but I'm not sure if I want an iPod or something different. Advise me please, oh wise and wonderful flist.
