They Say What They Say

I have spent the weekend in the old home town where my nephew turned four and large amounts of party food was consumed. The party pies were delicious, as were the little boys, but I think I ate too many lollies and I probably shouldn't have had all that champagne with the BIL's sisters. But who am I to say no to a glass of bubbly? However the fire engine cake looked magnificent, even though I was quite hungover while making it, and it didn't help that I got severely distracted when engenda sent me a text telling me that she had been sitting not three meters away from Jensen Ackles at the taping of Good News Week in Sydney.

OMG!

I squeed so loudly I practically woke the baby, and now my family and my in-laws think I'm some sort of insane adolescent fangirl, but OMG!

phoebesmum did the most wonderful thing and spent the weekend tagging snarchive. It was a job I had in mind to do for a while, but now I don't because phoebesmum is so wonderful!

However now I really must go to bed because I have a four hour meeting starting at 9am tomorrow and I haven't done the reading. Also, I forgot to send the roster out on Friday, even though I had finished it before lunch time, so I do need to get to the office rather early tomorrow. I just wish I didn't feel so queasy from the party food :~(
