They Say What They Say

I'm home, having survived my niece's second birthday party. I don't think I can look a party pie or a packet of Cheezels in the eye at the moment, but the cake was a huge success and there weren't too many tears, even when one little girl got pushed off the rocking horse by her twin sister.

I'm feeling a little down, though. My sister said something to me yesterday that, while meant with the best of intentions, upset me a little and it's been playing on my mind ever since. But I can't say anything, because she really meant no offense, and if I do say something she'll get upset for making me feel bad and then I'll feel bad for making her feel bad...

*sigh*

Anyway, I'm back in the old home town again next week. Mum is having a cataract operation next Monday and wants me to stay a couple days to make sure she's okay and doesn't fall and break her neck or something. But the weekend after that I am definitely staying home. I have to, cos in_the_bottle is having her Torchwood-a-thon. Fangirls fangirling, woot!

Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to it being Monday tomorrow, mostly because I've got my fitness assessment at the sports centre after work. I'm feeling like such a blob after not going to gym for a month that I can hardly wait to get back on the crosstrainer again.

I thin I'll go eat some fruit and yoghurt. Hopefully they'll help cancel out all the sugar Ive consumed today :~\
