I've been sitting here wondering why I'm so tired when it suddenly occurred to me that I got up at 6.30 this morning. I normally get up at 7.30-8 and arrive at work 9.30 at the latest. But today I had a training session at 9am and I wanted to get in by 8am so I could do a couple of things before I toddled of for the rest of the morning. It was still dark when I woke up. Dark! Of course I'm freaking tired, who wouldn't be?
Tomorrow is going to be hellish. There's only going to be two of us on duty all day and we've got three three-hour desk shifts to cover. I've made and executive decision and we're going to close for an hour at lunch time so we can at least get some sort of break, but I doubt I'll get much done at all tomorrow except keeping the service point going and fending off rabid patrons. Who says libraries are quiet, peaceful establishments? Obviously they've never heard the cacophony that is the B Library's silent study area.
I can haz chicken soup! I've been craving chicken soup for a few days now, so tonight I made an enormous pot of chicken and vegetable. Along with the minestrone I made last week, I think I've got enough soup to last me the entire winter. I'm thinking I might be over soup by the time spring rolls around.
My sinuses are killing me tonight. And my shoulder is very sore from the Wii bowling of the other night. I've got a spot on my top lip, the Giant Boobs of Doom have reared their ugly head and I tore a nail on one of my toes when I tripped over something a few days ago.
Hi! How are you?
ETA: Gah, I just looked up and found David Marciano on my TV, in an old episode of NCIS. Don't scare me that way!
ETA 2: I can nearly lick my elbow. You needed to know that, right?
