The one thing I hate about winter, aside from the cold (which I actually don't hate that much) is the fact that my living room suddenly turns into a Chinese laundry as I attempt to dry my washing. If I hang it on the line it rains. Or it might rain, or else it's too cold and it takes three days to dry. I don't own a dryer because I have nowhere to put one and they cost too much to run, so my only other option is clotheshorses in the living room. My living room is not that big and when I have a lot of laundry they fill up fast. Currently I have three pairs of pants hanging from the bookcase, two full clotheshorses, a t-shirt draped over the heater and another waiting to go, and a basket full of unfolded clothes that I can't arsed dealing with.
Why can't I have a spare room where I can just lock it all away and not have to think about it?
