I just did the bitch neighbour thing and banged on the wall so the girl in the flat next to mine would turn her music down. I really hate doing because it wasn't even that loud and she's a really nice person, but I'm not well and feeling a little bit whiny and I'm thinking of going to bed soon, even though it's barely 9pm. And since her living room backs onto my bedroom, I knew I'd just lay there seething at even the faintest noise, so yeah, I did the 'please turn the music down' bang on the wall and fortunately she did.

I was going to go to the old home town this weekend but I'm seriously not up to it. And none of the family would welcome my germs anyway, so all I'm planning on doing at this stage is staying home, keeping warm, watching and Audrey Hepburn movie or two and catching up on some SPN big bang fic. I may make banananana muffins, but only if I can be bothered getting the ingredients together, although at this stage I can't.

Hot honey, lemon and brandy has become my new favourite drink. Not sure how much good it's doing my cold, but it sure makes me feel better :~)
