My sister stupidly lent me her iPod to take away with me and then even more stupidly gave me carte blanche when it came to it's content. That I accidentally erased everything that was already on it is merely incidental. She'd already told me that I could delete anything I like prior to the unfortunate synchronization incident. The result of all this is that it now contains a heady mix of 80's retro, 90's punk, house, pop, rock, classical, jazz, disco, large amounts of the various projects of Matthew James Thomas and the five episodes of Supernatural that I haven't seen yet.
It's been fun going through my CDs and rediscovering things I'd forgotten I owned. It's been years since I last owned a stereo so I've gotten out of the habit of buying music. It's something I really need to remedy because I do love it and really enjoy finding new songs that spark something inside me. If I've got any money left over when I get home (doubtful!) I'll do something about it, me thinks.
Only two sleeps to go until I leave. Can't believe it's almost here. Going to New York was little more that a theory for such a long time that now the time has arrived I can hardly believe it.
BTW, if anyone want's a postcard, leave a comment here with your name and address and I'll see what I can do!
