I know this will sound quite shocking to some of you, but this week I cancelled my home internet connection.
After my PC died last month and I spent the two weeks before I got it repaired with no way to connect to the intertubes at home, I discovered I actually liked living in a relatively low-tech environment and have hardly been online at home since I got it fixed. I'd been contemplating cancelling my landline phone because I use my mobile for the majority of my phone calls these days, and since my phone was bundled with my internet account, cancelling one mean cancelling both anyway, so cancel it I did.
That's not to say I'm not exploring other options, but at the moment I'm kind of liking things the way that are. I can phaff around online to my heart's content at work, but once I get home there's other things to do and that's okay by me.
