They Say What They Say

Thank you to everyone who crossed their fingers for me the other day. You really must have been good-vibing in overdrive because it worked! Mum has decided to take the room in the retirement home and she moves in on the 28th.

Of course this means we are now faced with the monumental task of cleaning out the house and putting it on the market - and where I am going to store all the stuff I still have there is currently beyond me - but I'm sure I'll figure it out. What is most important is that for the first time in three years my brother, sister and I won't have to worry so much about mum being in ill health and living all alone in a huge house that she can no longer maintain. You have no idea what a weight off our shoulders this is.
