I'm a wee bit peeved with my hairdresser at the moment because he gave me more of a trim than I wanted. Yeah I hadn't had a haircut since January and it really did need a good inch taken off, but my hair was longer than it has been for years and I was quite enjoying it being below my shoulders again. Now it's sitting just on the shoulder and while it's fabulous - because it's impossible for A to not make my hair look fabulous - I just wish he'd held back with the scissors just a little.

I'm going to a party later and A will be there, and I will have to smile and say, 'Yes, I love it!' when really I'll be thinking, 'If only you'd kept that extra two centimeters' :~\

I could send you some of mine.
I elected to grow mine just a little - it actually hides the tops of my ears now - and then my schedule and my hairdresser's didn't coincide so I was stuck with a 7 week interval between cuts rather than the preferred 5 or the acceptable 6. Result? I really don't like my hair at the moment and I can't wait for my appointment next week.

I've never been the type to get regular trims, which is why this was only my second haircut this year! When I was a poor student I couldn't afford it, and after I moved to Melbourne I couldn't find a hairdresser I trusted to cut it properly (and more than a few have looked panic-stricken when I've walked into the salon and they've realised what they have to deal with.) Now a days it's finding the time that's the problem, although my hairdresser recently relocated his salon to my side of town so it's much easier to get to than before. I just need to write myself a note so I remember to make an appointment.

I always make an appointment at the same time as paying for the current haircut. Coming up to Christmas, I have to book up for two or three appointments at once. *is scared by evidence of efficiency*
