They Say What They Say

As you all know one of my main aims this year is to escape this job for something better. Well, I've been working on an application for a new position at the University of Tasmania, but I seem to have become stuck on this one response to the selection criteria. How would you respond to this?

Ability and willingness to elicit and address the needs of clients and client groups.

It should be easy and obvious, but my mind is a blank so any suggestions you can make will be gratefully received.
