"You know what I hate?" Natalie suddenly demanded after her third tequila shot.

"What do you hate?" Dana asked, her words only slightly slurred.

"The C word."

"The C word?"

"Yep, the C word." Natalie flapped her hand at Dana. "You know; the C word."

"Oh, the C word." Dana nodded in vague understanding.

"I really hate it, Dana."

"I'm sure you do."

"I hate it with a passion."

Dana raised her eyebrows. "You hate it that much?"

"I do. I really do."

Dana took a deep breath and drained her martini glass. "D'you want another drink? I'm going to get another drink."

"I really, really hate it, Dana."

"I'm sure you do."
