sn100 challenge #57 but it ended up way too long.
"Whatcah doing?"
Natalie looked up to find Dana hovering around her office door.
"Thinking about cute boys. What are you doing?"
"Looking for my Granola bar."
"You lost your Granola bar?"
"I know I had it an hour ago."
"And you think you left it in my office?" Natalie asked gravely.
"It's a possibility," Dana said with a helpless shrug.
"Were you eating it at the time?"
"I had it in my hand," Dana said, looking at her hands. "I was going to unwrap it but I got distracted and then pfft! No granola bar."
"Sorry Dana, I haven't seen it. Have you tried editing?"
"I'm going there next."
"Okay."
Dana turned to leave, paused, and turned back again. "Any cute boy in particular or cute boys in general?"
"Just cute boys general," Natalie said with a smile. "Although Pete Sampras, of course."
"Of course." Dana smiled at her. "You think editing?"
"I'm certain."
"Say hi to Pete," Dana flung over her shoulder as she left.
