It's really raining. Like, really, really raining. Flooding over the sides of the gutters type rain. It's good to hear.
I am shopping for Madeleine pans on eBay. I'm not quite sure why, especially since I can easily pick one up at the very well stocked kitchenware shop in Station street that's having a 10% off sale at the moment. I just know that I want a Madeleine pan and then I can make Madeleines!
askance is an evol evol woman with far superior technology than mine. She knows why.

One of the things I love most about The West Wing is the quality of the guest stars. Sure the regular cast was totally amazing and wonderful and talented, but they also had the most terrific guest starts. And not just the big names, either. Sure there was Laura Dern, Oliver Platt, Matthew Perry, Lily Tomlin who were all perfect and wonderful, and I will forever love Glen Close in The Supremes. Evelyn Baker Lang is who I want to be when I grow up. However, even the smaller bit parts that would show up for one episode, have a heartfelt argument with Toby or Sam or Josh over issues like seat belts and public television, redefining the poverty line and the abolition of the penny were so fantastic, so wonderful and just right for the small yet significant role they played you cannot help but love and admire them.
It's still raining, but not as hard. I hope I have to get the bus to work in the morning. We really could do with a bit more rain.
