Things I learned this weekend:
- You can't expect your newly styled hair to stay nice when you walk out of the salon into very strong wind.
- I shouldn't try to ride the Yarra Trail bike path for the first time when I have $50.00 worth of shopping in my panniers.
- Ikea on a Sunday is little better than Ikea on a Saturday.
- When looking for a new handbag for work, they never have the style you want in the colour you want.
- Wasabi is hot, hot, hot!
- Aaron Sorkin writes the best dialogue, ever (well, I knew that already, but it bears repeating) and there were at least three episodes of season four that I somehow missed.
- Callum Keith Rennie is too pretty for words.
- Kittens are extremely cute.
- Banana muffins are yummy.
- Horses are magnificent animals.
- When I grow up, I want to be Joanna Lumley.
- I can't wear skinny-leg jeans. I'm not sure who really can.
- There is no such thing as too many shoes. Unless of course you leave them scattered throughout your flat and keep tripping over them.
- When I say I'm going to do homework on the weekend, I really should do homework on the weekend.

Erk! I know what you mean about Ikea on Saturday's. Best time to go? Ikea Moorabbin at 10am on a Tuesday. Worst? Ikea Richmond on a Saturday morning, WITH child under 6. Been there, done both, survived.
>You can't expect your newly styled hair to stay nice when you walk out of the salon into very strong wind.
Murphy's Law in action
>Callum Keith Rennie is too pretty for words.
'Nuff said.
>Kittens are extremely cute.
Until they walk some of the less solid but smelly contents of their litter tray over your Austudy application...... It happened!
Homework? What's that?

Kittens grow up into big grumpy cats who SQUAWK at you, though Or they do if they're Mintaka.
Ikea is pretty much always hell, I do believe, and we are now miles from one.
But we do sometimes see horsies, so it all evens out, I suppose.

Indeedy. And I've found forewarned in is forearmed.

Yes, yes he does. It's amazing dialogue. Poetical. And Season 4 rocks. The last 3 eps of S4 are amongst the shows finest, I think.
Callum Keith Rennie is too pretty for words.
Oh. My. I have to agree. I am also in great need to receive my WW DVD. Anytime now Mr Postman.
Kittens are extremely cute.
I want one.

I was looking after the next-door neighbour's cats these past few days, which was fun, even if one of them is Teh Elusive Kitty and plans must be plotted to get her inside during the night.
