Another crap day at work, which makes me ask why on earth am I applying for the deputy's position. Do I really need to work with people who have no respect for me or what I do? I think not.

*sigh*

There has to be a light somewhere.

But seriously, would it make a difference to their behaviour if you're senior to them? Maybe they'd start sucking up to you (which is also unpleasant, but more bearable).

Actually, I think it would give them cause to dislike me even more than they already do. I'm seriously on the verg of resigning, I really am.

I hope so. I hope things will get better.

I'll have a look at your job application tonight, if I feel a bit better - it's not been a good day (we had to go shopping, we had no food, but the trip to the garden centre? I didn't need that!) - or tomorrow, to kick-start me into this mass of work I have to do to catch up!

Don't worry about it. I'm just going to put it in as is. After today I don't care if I get the job or not. In fact if I have my way, I won't be here much longer anyway.
