I just had good a look at the inside of my microwave. I think it's time I gave it a bit of a clean :~|

I went to see Good Night, and Good Luck tonight and I have to say it's one of the best movies I've seen in a long while. George Clooney has done a wonderful job in bringing alive and era that wasn't as sweet and innocent as we'd all like to think it was, and presenting us with a message that is just as relevant today as it was then. I certainly hope both he and David Strathairn at least get nominated for the work they have produced here, and I would also like to see the actor who played Don Hollenbeck get some recognition for all the emotion he brought to his few scenes.

I must now go to bed.

I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but I've just filled the last of my 100 icons. When I paid for the extra space, 100 icons seemed like an awful lot and I wasn't sure that I'd use it all. But there have been so many beautiful icons in both my main fandoms floating around lately that it wasn't so hard after all. Of course what this really means is that I'll probably dither for about ten minutes trying to decide what icon to use when I post, only to settle on one of the handful I use on a regular basis anyway :~|

The last couple of days have been rather muggy, but it's cooled down somewhat and I'm looking forward to getting a reasonable night's sleep tonight. God knows I need it because the last few nights have been terrible. Work was so boring today that I nearly nodded off at my desk this afternoon because, well, work really is just that boring.

In fact just reading this post makes me realise that life is pretty boring at the moment. I'm trying to save my pennies for Vietnam so I'm just staying home and puttering around there. I've no new fandom to squee about and even though I've got a couple of ideas for my picfor1000 fic, I've not put pen to paper yet so nothing to report there. I'd watch some Sports Night only my DVDs are still with the BIL because I forgot to get them back last time I visited the old home town.

*sigh*

Think I'll go do the dishes while I watch Will and Grace.
