Thanks to aukestrel I now have a decent plum jam recipe, which I will try on the weekend, and phoebesmum sent me a link to a highly amusing treatise on how (not) to make plum jam.*

Today has been very incredibly boring at work. I have catalogued many books, but that's about it. I think the highlight of my day was the episode of Everwood that I watched before I left for work. That and remembering to put my recyclables out for rubish night.

But Yay! I got my visa for Vietnam in the mail yesterday, and tomorrow I'm off to the doctor to see what needles I'll need before I go. Not so much looking forward to the latter, but at least it's one step closer to getting out o' here for a while. And Brokeback Mountain opens in Aus next week and hopefully various cohorts** and I will be going along for a squee and a cry.
