They Say What They Say

Many thanks to everyone who sent me hugs and best wishes after my not so nice day the other day. I'm feeling marginally less like the whole world is out to get me, but I miss my ottoman terribly.

I never realised just how handy it was, especially when I want to use my laptop while sitting on the couch. I could prop myself up with my feet on the ottoman and just be all comfy and cosey with my furniture and technology. I'll see how my brother goes with fixing it, otherwise I'll be doing some furniture shopping when I get back from Vietnam.

Apropos of, well, nothing really, I spent the weekend in the old home town, mostly sleeping and hanging out with the nephew. The BIL had finally gotten around to copying my Sports Night DVDs so I'm very pleased to have those back, and I also got my Wilby Wonderful DVD back from A. Now I just have to remind him that he also has my Last Night DVD and all my fanish loan-outs will have been returned.

Both my arms seem to have developed a terrible case of heat rash. The right in in particular is so itchy I feel like ripping my skin off just to get rid of it. The aloe-vera gel isn't working so I may have to get the big guns out. Cortisone cream, here I come!

God, back to work tomorrow. Where did the weekend go?
