Tom Waits is on my TV. If Dan Rydell were, like, a real person and sitting next to me he'd be jumping up and down with excitment right about now.
I didn't end up going to the old home town this weekend. When all was said and done, I really couldn't be bothered and N assures me the baby isn't coming tomorrow, although I suspect I will be visiting them in hospital on Good Friday. Thank god I'm cooking Easter lunch this year.
Okay, so I've just changed the channel, and now Billy Idol is swearing at Jeff Goldblum.
*boggles*
A&O invited me over to their apartment tonight and we watched The Corpse Bride and ate a lot of fromage and drank a lot of vino. It was very pleasant, except for the bit where A put his back out while opening the packet of water crackers and then spilt his wine on the carpet. But I very much enjoyed The Corpse Bride and now have this odd desire to buy 21 Jump Street on DVD. How can anyone resist a young Johnny Depp as Tom Hanson being all angsty with floppy 80s hair? I know I can't.
Ooo, now Rage are playing The Velvet Underground. I just know Dan would love them as well.
I must go to bed. It's after 1am and I'm a bit tired. But I've been watching Madonna videos and thinking about going to the gym (don't ask) so I may watch a little more Rage and then hit the hay.
