I bought a new bike!

and then i dropped it into the sink
Am very excited about picking up my new bike tomorrow *bounces some more* I just need to remember to take my credit card with me so I can pay for it, otherwise bike shop guy will not be too pleased with me.

aukestrel and kelliem's latest fic Wide Open Space, wherein Alex from Getting Married in Buffalo Jump hires Christy from Paris or Somewhere to help him out on the farm and they get to know each other more than they thought they would. It's long and plotty and OMG, so good! A rare and wonderful offering from two of the best writers in the due South fandom.
I made poached egg on toast with avocado when I got home tonight and I have to say, it wasn't the best PEoTwA that I've ever had. I over cooked the egg and then the yolk broke as I was lifting in out of the pan, so what little runny yolk was left leaked out. Then there was the incident with the teacup and the slotted spoon, and well, yeah, it could have been better. Never mind. My toast and avocado was perfect!
Okay, must be off to bed.
