They Say What They Say

I've spent most of today feeling tired and vaguely hung-over. The tired bit comes from the less that good night's sleep I had last night thanks to it being the highest overnight temperature in a very long time. 27C. All night. Not nice. But I'm rather miffed about the hung-over bit. Sure I had a couple of drinks at the work do I went to yesterday, but hardly enough to make me feel as crappy as I felt when I got up this morning. I put it down to dehydration.

So, tomorrow I'm off to the old home town again. The third time in two weeks. It's my sister's birthday and her friend has organised for a bunch of us to take her out for afternoon tea, leaving the kids at home with the BiL so she can actually sit back and relax for a while. Then on Sunday I'm driving mum to my brother's house for Christmas lunch at the BiL's sister's house in St Kilda for which I have to prepare the greens.

Note to self: Don't forget to bring mum's big steamer home with you for the broccoli and beans.

Meanwhile, both scriggle and c_regalis have been beating us over the head with the until we're senseless with the hotness that is CKR, while minisn gave the Sports Night fandom one of the best presents ever! A Sports Night holiday card complete with dancing and music and mistletoe, Isaac as Santa and Natalie bribing Jeremy by wearing a white dress shirt and heels. OMG, it really is the bestest present!
