They Say What They Say

My shoe dream died a little today. While I was shopping in Myer's this afternoon, I tried on a pair of Manolo Blahnik's and my feet didn't like them much at all. The holy grail of shoes and my feet found them unbalanced and pinchy. I was most disappointed :~(

After much walking around and trying on of things, I finally found a dress to wear to my birthday party. Silk chiffon with an empire waist and goddess bodice, it cost, um, a lot more than I planned on spending, although I could have easily spent more if I'd allowed myself to try on the Marc Jacobs dress I saw in David Jones. As it is my credit card really, really hates me right at this moment, but it looks fabulous with the red strappy sandals that I got on eBay a couple of weeks ago and with a push-up bra does it wonders for my rack!

Apparently it has been exactly ten years since Buffy debuted on TV. Happy anniversary, Buffy and co!

I'm half-way through the fourth season of Farscape and while I'm finding the quality of the scripts and storylines a bit patchy, it's not too bad. It's always fun to play spot the Australian guest star, and as always Claudia Black and Ben Browder do wonders for black leather pants...
