And a big Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] celli, [livejournal.com profile] privateuniverse, [livejournal.com profile] alaira and [livejournal.com profile] dayse who all recently celebrated a special day. Hope it was a good one, my lovelies!

*BIG HUGS*

I know I may frequently complain about being a car owner, but when one has to make an emergency dash to the supermarket for girly accouterments at 8.45 on a Monday evening, the positives certainly outweigh the negatives. At least for the time being.

So, work was fun today. I got there this morning to find the place virtually deserted and the ground floor in semi-darkness. Seems there was a bit of a power failure last night and the library was partially blacked out until around 2pm. Unfortunately there was enough power for the staff to work by so none of us got to go home, but it was fun to watch the students wander up to the library entrance, attempt to open the door then look around confused until they noticed the sign telling them that the building was closed until further notice. Poor little lost sheep, they had no idea what to do without their free wireless broadband.

Later on I went gym where I knocked myself about by running on the treadmill. I've no idea why I've started running. I dislike running intensely, but lately I've been jumping on the treadmill at gym and going at it until I conk out. I think it has something to do with the fact that I spent the first half of the year hardly going to gym at all while I studied, and now I want to make up for lost time by wearing myself out completely.

Am attempting to convert my friend A to Supernatural. I had great success with him with Sports Night so I'm feeling fairly confident that I'll get a positive result. I just wish it didn't involve having to let my DVDs out of my sight for a couple of weeks to succeed. I don't like being separated from my boys. Makes me kind of twitchy.
