Oh god, I just finished reading this fic that was mostly okay, but then the good bits were punctuated with a series of clunky, off-putting sex scenes that totally ruined it for me. Why do people write this stuff and why on earth do I keep on reading it?

Okay, so first there was the Josh Charles-a-like at the economics library.

Then there was the CKR-a-like at my old gym.

Recently there was the Paul Gross-a-like at Sydney airport.

Now there's the Hugh Dillon circa HCL-a-like on the circulation desk at work!

Please, oh fannish karma, can the Jared and/or Jensen-a-like be next?

♥ So, I caught the tail end of an episode of Two and a Half Men and I was like, hey, that gorgeous brunette making out with Jed Bartlet's Martin Sheen's kid? Didn't she play Madison in Supernatural? And yes, indeed it was Emmanuelle Vaugier! I wonder who's a better kisser, Charlie of Jared? I know who my money is on *g*

♥ Had a very yummy dinner of chicken casserole and an impromptu colcannon-like concoction of mashed pumpkin and potato mixed in with sliced and sauteed Brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts are a very underrated vegetable and they're so tasty! I really don't get why they have such a bad rep.

♣ Just when I thought certain sections of fandom couldn't let me down any more than they already have, this has to go and happen. Thanks to celli for the link.

♥ Leading on from the previous point, I just googled my real name and found out that, back from my time in old old job, I'd been given a nod in the acknowledgments of an article about poison fish! I knew all that time spent covered in red rot would eventually pay off *g*

♣ Another trip to the dentist tomorrow, to get the permanent crown. Oh wot fun.

♥ It's nearly the weekend, woot \o/
