I was going to do a huge update on my tip to Tassie, but I realised that a) I couldn't be bothered, and b) it wouldn't make for terribly exciting reading anyway. So here's the edited highlights for your perusal:

I had a great time and am very glad I made the effort to get away for a few days. The weather was wonderful the whole time I was there and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, even though my bank account now loathes the sight of me. I will definitely make a return visit, even if it's just to conquer quiz night again!

I was extremely productive today, which is wonderful considering I'm still on holiday and the impulse to just laze about and do nothing is enormous.

I got up at about 9.45, had breakfast, stripped the sheets off my bed and put on a load of laundry. While that was going I showered and dressed and then hung my sheets out to dry. Then I made myself a packed lunch and then hopped on my bike and went to gym where I spent and hour and a half doing weights and cardio.

After I finished at the gym I found a spot in the sun and ate my sandwich while I read the newspaper before starting for home. On the way home I stopped at the flower shop in Princes street and bought daisies and carnations for my flat.

Once home I spent the next two hours cleaning then I headed down to Station street to run an errand and buy an ice cream. Of course I got caught up at the bookshop and ended up buying books, but I do need something new to read, and when I got home I brought in all my clean washing, folded some of it and made dinner. I was going to do the dishes, but I think I've run out of pep because it's only 9.30pm and I'm already thinking about going to bed!

They've started posting the DS_Match stories at ds_flashfiction At this point in time I'm thinking that taking the first two off to bed with me is a very good idea indeed.
