Oh lord, Political Animals isn't even due to start screening for another two weeks or so - in fact last I heard they were still filming it, even - but people are already starting to write fic. I guess that's what happens when you have Sebastian Stan playing T.J. Hammond, the musically gifted, gay, substance abusing son of a former US President. Oh the angst! Oh the pretty! Tumblr is currently awash with him kissing boys and encouraging his grandmother to start cocktail hour at noon. How could you not want to write about that?

Firstly there's These Ties That Bind by antiquitea, a lovely bit of H/C wherein T.J.'s twin brother, Doug, can always be relied upon to look after him when he needs him most.

And there's even the cia know better than to fuck with me by postcardmystery, where T.J. proves that if you mess with him, he'll mess with you and do it ten times better than you ever could. This one needs a warning for drug use, language, sexual situations and just about adult theme you can think of. But it's good. Really good!

I haven't even seen it yet and lord knows when it's going to be shown in Australia, but it's already my new favourite show. I'm doomed!
