They Say What They Say

I'm putting this in writing so I can't go back on my word.

I'm not buying any more shoes or clothes for the next four weeks. It doesn't matter if I see a cute skirt or a nifty pair of sandals. I'm not buying them. I have too many clothes as it is and my shoes are about to explode out of my wardrobe. Therefore no more purchasing of wearables for the foreseeable future.* If I do break down and slip back into old habits before the end of the period of suspension, you have my full permission to berate me soundly and remind me that I'm an idiot.



*The jeans I currently have on layby don't count because a) they were purchased before the suspension of shopping activity, and b) they'll be due to be picked up before normal activities can resume.
