I have the feeling I'm going to end up with more copies of the Hard Core edition of Hard Core Logo than one person really needs.

After letting them know in no uncertain terms that I would not supply them with a copy of my credit card statement, Chapters has seen fit to approve the order and apparently it is now awaiting shipment. Meanwhile I ordered it from a site recommended by [livejournal.com profile] micehell after Chapters looked like they weren't going to be forthcoming, and that copy is also pending, not to mention the still open order from amazon.ca.

Now it's just a case of waiting to see whose copy arrives first. I bet it isn't amazon's.

H'm. I think the phrase we are looking for here - another one of my mother's - is "Small choice in rotten apples".
