My new boss has already forgotten my name. Hopefully this is not an indication of our future working relationship.

On a (only just) brighter note, amazon.ca have upgraded my order to Expedited International shipping. Really what it means is that even though I still have to wait for weeks, it'll arrive fairly quickly when they do finally get their act together.

Actually, I'm thinking of cancelling the amazon order and buying it from chapters.ca instead. Does anyone on my flist buy stuff from Chapters, and if so, are they any good?

I'm suddenly wondering if you work for Sam Donovan...

Well, she is on holiday in some exotic local. And she thought my name was Linda. Maybe she's a secret SN fan with a penchant for Sam?

I got dS season 3 from them (to the US) and had no problems. Dunno about intercontinental shipping. Have you checked ebay? Sometimes even w/ international shipping one can save money (plus they tend to *have* what you buy as opposed to amazon.)

I don't often see the commentary edition on ebay. I think I might gove Chapters a go. Can't hurt, can it?

It's when he forgets your face that you're *really* in trouble.

Sice she hasn't officially started yet, I'll give her the benefit of doubt. Just this once.

I order from Chapters and have never had a problem. I know I'm in the same company as their warehouses, but I think it's indicative of good service. Plus, I worked for the company just as they were setting up the online side of things and their philosophy seems to be to fill and ship an order as soon as possible.

Hmm, I might give them a go then. They certainly couldn't be any worse than amazon...

Amazon seems to just suck so badly for you guys. Maybe you could approach amazon hq about starting an OZ/NZ site? ;-) Or is there one already?

No amazon.au just yet. Most Australians aren't that big on shopping on the internet so they probably don't think it's worth it.
