a mouse and two recs

it would seem that Mousey Mousey is still in residence in my kitchen and eating my bananas. I had suspected such for a while now, but the proof was in the very neat hole nibbled into a banana sitting in my fruit basket tonight.

Fortunately I noticed said hole before I even thought about using the banana to make banana muffins, but now I'm also confronted with the fact that since my previously humane efforts to evict Mousey Mousey failed, I may now have to take more drastic action of the toxic kind.

I think I'll take a leaf out of Scarlett's book and think about that one tomorrow.

Meanwhile, insta-recs!

Firstly, from the due South [livejournal.com profile] midsummer_santa stories that were posted today, Chansons de marin, a My Life as a Dog/Buried on Sunday crossover that is hot, sweet, passionate and fun. It won't make much sense if you're not familiar with the movie/TV series, but if you are you can revel in the Gus Knickle/Johnny Johannson goodness to your hearts content.

Secondly, My Dad, World's Biggest Dork by [livejournal.com profile] khohen1, a very sweet Sports Night story wherein Dan is cool, Casey is a dork and Charlie is on to them both.
