I have new bookcases!

Or at least I will when the furniture shop delivers them in a couple of weeks.

You have no idea how many years I have been living with about half my books in piles on the floor. And my videos have never had any sort of home at all. But now I will be able to shelve *everything* and have a little room left over for expansion. Of course what I will do when I run out of expansion room is beyond me, but for the moment I have new bookcases, which is simply the best thing that has happened to me in ages!

I was so happy when I got my shelves the other week. If I had a camera, I'd've spammed my FL for days with the wonder that is My Books On Shelves! At Last!

Oooh, bookcases! I've been steadily giving over all shelf space to books for a while now, and now I'm starting to plan how I can get some on the ceiling or something.
Once, we had to design our ideal house. Everyone else was planning their kitchens and bathrooms and loungerooms and bedrooms. Me? I was planning my library. *g*

Oh I totally understand. My dream is to have a library like the one in My Fair Lady, with walls lined with shelves on two levels and a fabulous spiral staircase to reach the gallery that runs all the way around the room.
