Went to see King Kong last night. It was...long. I mean Peter jackson has done a wonderful job in bringing the ape to life, but it took forever to get going and I was, quite frankly, pretty bored most of the time. I did love Kong, though, and I was really sad when the inevitable happened. Naomi Watts did a great job as Ann, as did Adrian Brody, and I didn't fail to spot the sly nods to the original movie (which, FYI PJ, only goes for 100 minutes!) But I practically cringed each time Jack Black appeared on screen, and Colin Hanks was just wasted.
Oh well, win some, lose some.
I'm way behind on my flist and owe comments to many people, but I don't think I'm going to catch up at this stage. I do love you all, I just haven't been very organised lately.
I've just made mango chutney and now my flat smell fragrant and homey. I probably put too much chili in the chutney, but since I like chili and I'm the one who's going to eat it, what's the problem?
God, so tired. Didn't get to bed until nearly 1.00am last night thanks to the never ending movie, and was up at 7.45. Why am I not in bed asleep?
Is it Friday yet?
