Oh god, so hot. It was 37c today, which was hot enough, but the forecast is for 42c tomorrow. That's right, 42!!! That's, like, in the 100's in Fahrenheit!
It was in the 90s that summer I was in the Thornton Heath house without a fridge, and the only thing I could come up with to cool down - other than having the fan on all the time - was the cold blocks you put in cool boxes (the hot/cold gel pads you get for aches and pains work, too), left in the freezer overnight, then wrapped in a teatowel and stuffed down my top.
Which only works when you're at home. It's not a good look for the office!
